Like all of you, we haven’t stopped being excited by the development of poker on the Internet. The opportunity to play at a table against opponents from everywhere in the world, anytime, anywhere! Online Poker has undoubtedly boosted the poker community; it permitted thousands of players to improve their skills so much faster.
Like all of you, before we even knew we would start our own affiliate website, we spent hours playing online…
Then, very naturally, we understood we had to be involved in the affiliate business as we thought it opened infinite possibilities to have new people discover our favourite game and increase our community of players.
After all these years working in online business, we all know the essence of the Net (hence the essence of affiliation) is its communitarian aspect.
Above all we believe Internet was the revolution which permitted to gather people, gathering them to work together, to have fun together, to share information together, eradicating distances, making the world smaller.
The world being smaller, we have a better knowledge of what happens everywhere, what goes well but also what goes wrong.
This is when we realized the obvious: the essence of the net is its community and the essence of a community is to have its people help each other.
We are poker players, we like having fun and making money but this does not mean we want to spend our entire life only playing while so many people spend theirs only struggling.
PokerEthical decided to refuse ignoring the issues of our world.
The online poker industry generates millions of dollars of revenues yearly. We thought it was possible to use part of those revenues to try to make a difference. In fact, we're giving half of ours.
We built up a system which made the affiliation business become ethical. By ethical, we mean responsible, charitable, fair. We believe we can’t make decisions without considering our resulting actions’ consequences because this is the only way to know our actions are right.
It makes a lot of sense to help people in the need while we are enjoying ourselves, and even more during these times of recession when charities struggle to be financed. We are convinced the poker community shares our belief.
Welcome to the ethical race! PokerEthical aims at remaining innovative to provide the best affiliate service and to give online players access to the most relevant information about the poker business, online and offline. Meanwhile, you will become a fundraiser for the charity of your choice.
We like to think we included a new rule to Poker: you will no longer win for yourself alone but for others as well.
